Exhibitions:

1988-1989: Received several awards for outstanding creative photography whilst attending Vaal Triangle Technicon.

2002(March): Participated in a Salon held in Potchefstroom’s Main Museum.

2003 (October):Solo Exhibition held in Potchefstroom’s Main Museum. Entitled “A Spiritual Journey”. During this time also worked on numerous commissions.

2004(May): Salon Exhibition held in Potchefstroom’s Main Museum.

2004(June): Participated in a group exhibition at Hadassah Clinic, Potchefstroom.

2004(September): Participated in a group exhibition at Snowflake Building, Potchefstroom. Entitled “Geslag” during Aardklop. Artists included Gordon Froud, Angus Taylor, Diane Victor, Abrie Fourie and Ian Marley.

2004(December): Participated in a group exhibition at the Gordart Gallery in Melville. Exhibition of miniatures.

2005(January): Began teaching fine art at NWU, Potchefstroom.

2005(September): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building, Potchefstroom. Entitled “n Oog vir Woorde”. Artists included Ian Marley, Angus Taylor, Louise-Marie Combrink, Charl Pierre Naude and Maja Marx.

2006 (January): Began giving private art lessons.

2006 (May): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building in Potchefstroom.

2006 (September): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building, Potchefstroom, as part of the Aardklop festival. Entitled “Nouveau”. Artists included Mariana Booyens, Louise-Marie Combrink, Elana Venter and Martie Bothma.

2007 (August): Participated in a group exhibition at Artspace in Johannesburg under the curatorship of Thereza Lizamore. Entitled “MindMapping”. Artists included Louise-Marie Combrink and Markus Steinman. A number of artworks were chosen for the Sasol Collection.

2007 (October): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building as part of the Aardklop festival.

2007 (October): Participated in a group exhibition at the North-West University in Potchefstroom, as a continuation of the “Mind Mapping” Exhibition. Artworks were chosen as part of the NWU Collection.

2008 (August): Participated in a group exhibition titled “Rendezvous” Wearable Art at the University of Johannesburg, Fada Gallery, which moved to the North-West University in Potchefstroom, as part of the Aardklop Festival. Artists included Diane Victor, Gordon Froud, Ian Marley and Paul Boulitreau.

2008 (November): Commissioned by NWU, Dean of Health Sciences.

2009(May): Participated in a group exhibition, at Artspace in Johannesburg under the curatorship of Thereza Lizamore. Entitled “WalkingTheLine”. Artists included, Toni Ballenden, Elizabeth Gunter, Ernest Korkie, Ian Marley, Craig Smith, Colijn Strydom, Jaco van der Heever and Judy Woodborne.

2009(September): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building as part of the Aardklop Festival.

2010: Began teaching at Potchefstroom High School for Girls.

2010 (September): Participated in a group exhibition at the Snowflake Building as part of the Aardklop Festival.

2010 (June): Participated in a travelling group exhibition, curated by Gordon Froud. Entitled “Altered Pieces: a Leonard Cohen Tribute”. Artists included Diane Victor, Chris Diedericks, Ian Marley, Diek Grobler, Markus Steinman, Helena Hugo and Jan van der Merwe amongst others.

2011 (October): Participated in a group Exhibition entitled “Life’s a Journey” in conjunction with the Cancer Association. As part of a fund raising champagne, all artworks chosen were published into diaries and calendars. All of my artworks were published.

2011 (October): Participated in a travelling group Exhibition, “Rendezvous Focus Painting”. Artists included Phillip Badenhorst, Helena Hugo, Retha Buitendach, Clare Menck, Peter Eastman, Pauline Gutter, Richardt Strydom, Rina Stutzer, Andre Naude, Paul Boulitreau and Jeremy Chabaud, amongst others.

2011 (October): Solo Exhibition at North West University, Potchefstroom. Entitled “The Persistence of Memory and Making Figments Feel”.

2011 (November): Commissioned to design a gold coin for King Mswati Lilangeni of Swaziland.

2013 (March): Took Part in the “Tom Waites for no man” group exhibition. As a continuation of the Leonard Cohen Exhibition. Curated by Gordon Froud.

2014 (October): Took Part in the “Save Seven Lives” group exhibition. At the Sanlam Auditorium North West University, later traveling to the Snowflake Building during the Aardklop festival. Took part in “Life” group exhibition at the Snowflake building during the Aardklop festival.

2015: (April): Took part in “The Beginning” group exhibition. At the William Humphrey Gallery, Kimberley. Artists included: Attie Gerber and Rowland Daniels.

2016: (June): Solo Exhibit entitled “The Modern Condition” at the Rust-en-Vrede Gallery, Durbanville, Cape Town.

2016: (October): Solo Exhibit entitled “The Modern Condition” at the North-West University Botanical Garden Gallery as part of the Aardklop National Arts Festival.

2016: (August): “The Modern Condition” moves to the William Humphrey Gallery in Kimberley, as part of the Gariep Arts Festival.
